The Cost Conundrum

“The greatest threat to America’s fiscal health is not Social Security, it’s not the investments that we’ve made to rescue our economy during this crisis. By a wide margin, the biggest threat to our nation’s balance sheet is the skyrocketing cost of health care. It’s not even close.”

I have a tough time trying to understand the shortsightedness of many of our politicians. I'm not sure throwing a 10 foot rope to someone who is drowning 50 feet from the shore is a good thing.

This article isn't new, but it is very interesting reading and provides a unique look at the high cost of healthcare.
